When clearing sidewalks after a snow storm, remember to  take it easy and lift properly.
	Watch where you walk in winter. Ice can form on parking lots  and sidewalks.
	Check your vehicle once a week for signs of problems with  the tires, brakes, battery, etc.
	Make sure your mirrors are properly adjusted before you  start driving.
	Carry emergency equipment in the vehicle - even if it is  only flares, a flashlight, and a jack.
	Size up the road as you drive, be a defensive driver.
	The time to check your insurance policies is now, do not  wait until a storm is approaching, it will be too late.

	When traveling, don't forget that if you take medicine, you must carry the original containers.  Also, if going overseas, pay careful attention to safe food and water guidelines for the country you are visiting to reduce your risk.
	Remember, when working with a ladder, always follow the manufacturer's instruction.  Always place the ladder feet firmly and evenly on the ground.  Do not over-reach when you are on the ladder.
	Make sure that you check your smoke detectors twice a year, when the time changes.  Practice exit drills and meet at a designated spot.
	Combat workplace violence by upgrading the physical building security.
